SHALOM TECHNICAL COLLEGE is a Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (BBBEE) Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institution established on the 27th of February 2013, and officially accredited by the Manufacturing, Engineering and Related Services SETA (merSETA), accreditation number 17-QA/ACC/1250/16. We are an artisan and skills development centre offering various skills programs. We are also accredited by the Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO) accreditation number is QCTO: SDP1220/17/032.
SHALOM TECHNICAL COLLEGE is strategically located at N0. 225 Marshall street Johannesburg. The college is easily accessible because of its nearness to major transportation route leading in and out of central Johannesburg and CBD. The college premises also boast of very large classroom space to accommodate lots of learners and envisaged growth. The college also has spacious car park to cater for our staffs, learners and visitors. The college boasts of highly qualified personnel in both academic and administrative support in line with our objective of ensuring high standards in all spheres of teaching and learning.
SHALOM TECHNICAL COLLEGE has modern classrooms and fully equipped practical workshop to facilitate practical and quality teaching. The college has very strong technical partnership with major manufacturing and technology companies in South Africa where learners are placed for work integrated learning program to acquire more practical skills in a work place environment.

Our vision was birthed by the realization of the gap in the skills this nation requires if it is to produce technically skilled workers who will be able to significantly contribute to the enhancement of its economy. EXIT STRATEGIES AFTER STUDIES
1. Shalom Technical College will seek Learnership and internship opportunities for students after completion of their studies for experience purposes.
2. Shalom Technical College will link students to companies for special performance vehicle.
3. Young Entrepreneurs will be given a special incubation workshop and connect them to the SPV programme that deals with introducing them to the major business world for their stable foundation.
4. Small existing SMME’s will also undergo an advance entrepreneurship programme which will prepare and link them to mainstream businesses.

Staff Recruitment and Retention
Shalom Technical College is committed to recruiting and retaining qualified staff in all its faculties.
Shalom Technical College offers full qualifications in Welding Application and Practice; Plumbing; Boiler making; Engineering Technology, Information Technology (IT), Early Childhood Development (ECD), Electrician, Safety and Security, to mention but a few. We are in the process of getting additional accreditation with other Sector Education and Training Authorities (Seta’s), the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO) and the Department of Higher Education to enable us offer more training in the FET band (NQF level 2 to 4) and N1 to N6 levels.
Shalom Technical College shall establish partnerships with businesses and governmental entities as well as other educational institutions to advance economic development and improve the quality of life of our learners and communities through offering broad-based further education programmes. Learners shall be fully equipped with the skills to function effectively in the workplace. Shalom technical college shall offer programmes that meet the needs of our communities and workplace.
Shalom Technical College has the capacity to register 200 learners yearly and shall increase by 25% annually. Shalom Technical College shall address learners concerns by ensuring that there is an effective feedback from learners at all levels. Learners concerns shall be addressed and rectified promptly. There shall be a Learners concern log book. Shalom Technical College shall establish an effective fees collection mechanism, and ensure that bad debts are reduced or eliminated.
